Family Business

Wee Folk celebrated its 34th Anniversary this January. Wee Folk was originally opened for the employees at Byrne Electrical Specialists. The owners of Byrne Electrical Specialists, Norman, and Rosemary Byrne wanted to provide an onsite daycare for their employees. After a short time, Wee Folk opened its doors to the Rockford community and surrounding areas to provide care for all families. We have been able to maintain enrollment and provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment for many years. Kathy Scudder and Molly Byrne, daughters of Norman and Rosemary, have since taken over ownership and strive to continue the family business of giving quality care to small children.
