In the Toddler rooms, the children are becoming more independent and communicative. Teachers encourage language development by providing words for children to increase their vocabulary. Both rooms will be set up for exploring with paints, play dough, books, blocks, manipulatives, crayons, dress up, and puzzles. Children will also have the opportunity for gross motor play using soft climbers in the building and a large playground outdoors.
Your child will begin to understand group interactions during circle time. Circle time will be an interactive time for songs, books, fingerplays, and flannel board games.
Caregivers are committed to making potty training a positive experience for parents and children. When a child exhibits indicators that they may be ready, the caregivers will work together with the families to begin this exciting process.
